Discover New YOKOHAMA Tourism（第1回目）を開催いたしました。
本事業は「地域に入り、つくって、食べて、繋がる」をテーマに、金沢区エリアにて体験型プログラムを実施いたしました。
当日は、内装DIY体験や提灯づくりワークショップを通じて、参加者が地域の空間づくりや文化に触れる機会となりました。
また、日本在住外国人の参加者も交え、株式会社スマートボックス様にご協力いただき、翻訳アプリ「ドコツーAI」を活用しながら、積極的なコミュニケーションが生まれ、言語や文化の壁を越えた交流の場となりました。
今回の体験を通じて、「関わる観光」の可能性を実感する機会となり、地域資源を活用した新たな観光のあり方を考える第一歩となりました。

We held the first “Discover New YOKOHAMA Tourism” event.
Under the theme of “entering the community, creating, eating, and connecting,” this project featured a hands-on experiential program in the Kanazawa Ward area.
During the event, participants experienced interior DIY activities and lantern-making workshops, providing opportunities to engage with local culture and community spaces.
The event also welcomed foreign residents living in Japan. With the support of Smartbox Co., Ltd. and the use of the translation app “Docotsu-AI,” active communication took place, creating meaningful exchanges that went beyond language and cultural barriers.
Through these experiences, participants were able to recognize the potential of “participatory tourism,” where visitors become actively involved with the local community. It also marked an important first step toward exploring new forms of tourism that make use of regional resources.
